Adonis the protagonist is raised by his mentor, Chloe, in the ways of magic. However, when humanity's advancements make witches obsolete, the Redia Empire turns against them, leading to Chloe's execution. Fueled by grief and betrayal, Adonis vows revenge against the Empire, determined to restore honor to witches and seek justice for Chloe's death.
